Edhi Typeface

A typeface inspired by a Pakistani, Abdul Sattar Edhi, one of the greatest humanitarian of our times. Edhi is a bold display typeface with high contrast thick and thins and serifs inspired by the many calligraphic Arabic and Urdu typefaces. The font was hand crafted, and later digitized in RoboFont. A full alphabet of uppercase and lower case letters, numbers, symbols and ornaments representative of the culture were made. The specimen book for the typeface is the catalyst that shows off the craft of the typeface created and usage of the font.
